Plugwise located in the Netherlands (Sassenheim, near Leiden) has developed a unique and
innovative energy management system that is suitable for both business and residential user.
Plugwise supplies its products throughout the world, has sales outlets in several countries and is well
on its way to become the European market leader in effective micro-energy management systems .
Plugwise is currently looking for candidates to fill 2 vacancies:
Software Developer (Junior/Medior) 40 hrs/week
For the location in Sassenheim
- Bachelor level in working and thinking;
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in programming;
- Knowledge and experience with C, and (embedded) Linux (i.e. OpenWRT).
- Knowledge and experience in developing in OO (i.e. C++, C#, Java);
- Preferably : Knowledge and experience with Lua or other dynamically typed language;
- For at least 4 days per week, preferably 5 days;
- Free choice of working-days (including weekend);
- You are flexible, enthusiastic and creative;
- A skilled communicator;
- With good writing/speaking skills in the English language;
- And prepared to relocate to the Netherlands and to live near Sassenheim.
We offer a challenging position with an attractive salary on the basis of a 1 years’ contract with
option of extension. After a successful (Skype) interview and application procedure we offer a special
relocation package and will assist you in making suitable living arrangements.
